The school includes a nursery called "Maison des enfants"
for the children aged from 2,5 to 5 years of age (PS,MS) and primary
classes divided in 3 groups from
5-6 years of age (GS&CP) from
7-8 years of age (CE1&CE2) and from 8-11 years of age (CE2,CM1&CM2). Each class
has 20 children directed by a Montessori teacher.
The mix of age groups supports the learning
experience and develops the relations between children. The youngest learn
from the experience of the oldest, who reinforce their understanding by
helping the youngest. The progress from a group to another does not depend
on the age of the children but is done according to their level of maturity.
